Joseph Will Carney

Born Joseph William Carney, 1938, Hampton, Virginia to African Parents; attended Phenix High, Graduated Ohio Wesleyan University, 1960; taught high school mathematics and science(chemistry) in New York City, San Diego and Los Angeles Public Schools. Began writing in the '60s and self published To My Lady and other poems April 2012 and O Joy Of Life and other Poems in August 2012. As a high school student, I often wrote reports in prose. After retirement in 2007 and moving to Bangkok, I have been seriously writing, thinking and dreaming poetry. A third book, untitled, has several poems. I am writing in many styles, haiku, acrostic, alexandrine, quatrain, etc. Expected publication as a kindle book is late 2012, early 2013. Yes, I awake at 2 am and have to write in my book or awaken and try to remember.
