Edward T. Duranty

Edward T. Duranty is from the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Graduated from Whitefield High School and enlisted in the U.S.Navy. Married his wife Elaine and in 1958 took up residence in Newport, R.I. His first duty assignment was at the Naval Hospital, followed by service aboard three naval ships. Rated as a Hospital Corpsman, in 1967 he served with the Third Marine Division in the Northern Provinces of Vietnam. Upon his retirement he attended and received his BS degree at Salve Regina University.He is a member of the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans. He and his wife reside in Englewood, Florida.
