Author Daniel Stuelpnagel began writing fiction in 2010 with the screenplay form as an entry point, he expanded his fourth feature script in the thriller genre to create his first novel, Help Me Kill, self-published 2012 in paperback.
As a visual artist, Stuelpnagel has exhibited his paintings since 1998, and his fiction reflects a refined visual sensibility characteristic of an artist who has focused on structural geometric paintings that incorporate the architectural foundations of technology and constructivist, high-contrast images.
The artist has created more than 900 paintings, participated in more than 100 exhibitions, and has donated dozens of art works in fund-raising for children's arts education and literacy, housing for the disabled, public television, cancer treatment research and hospice care for terminal AIDS patients, among other worthwhile causes.
In August 2020, after slightly editing the original manuscript from its cinematic roots to a more literary 2nd edition, the author published Help Me Kill as a Kindle ebook, now available on Amazon. This fast-paced thriller with an intricate and seductive character web remains a cinematic yet poetic adventure that reflects the author's expertise and experience.
