Ever since I wrote essays in school, I've dreamed about becoming an author. In my late teens, I even wrote a futuristic novel about World War III hitting Sweden and a number of young people on the run. But I never managed to find a publisher...

During the 1970s, I published a small magazine about UFO sightings from around the world. It was an interesting period, during which I made a number of international contacts, wrote and translated articles.

Later, during the 1970s and the 1980s I wrote several articles, which were published in Swedish and Danish popular science magazines. These articles dealt with subjects as space exploration, ancient mysteries, UFO sightings, parapsychology, popular science etc.

But even if life had its many twists and turns, during the years that followed, my dream never died. My wife encouraged me to participate in a writing course, and during 2007-2009 I was enrolled in the Winghill Writing School online and learned a lot to enhance my writing skills.

It was during these studies that the idea for "the Fire and Ice Trilogy" was born. Initially, I thought it would only be one novel, but as the idea evolved, I soon realized that it would take three books to tell the complete story.

To find a publisher wasn't easy, but finally the first part "Heatstroke" was published by Raider International Publishing in December 2010. I continued to work on the story and a year later, in December 2011, the second novel "Autumn" was published.

As I finished the third part "Hoarfrost", I found and got truly interested in CreateSpace, which is a DBA of On-Demand Publishing LLC, and part of the Amazon group of companies. What I found sounded interesting and through CreateSpace "Hoarfrost" was published in September 2012.

Since then, "Autumn", "Hoarfrost" and "Heatstroke" have been converted to eBooks and made available online as Kindle Books. With a low pricing, I think this a comfortable and environmental-friendly alternative to printed editions.

The current series I have written in English, since the issues presented in my novels concern the whole world. The trilogy also reflects my engagement in environmental questions and social problems.

I realized that creating a novel is not only a question of having a flourishing imagination, it also takes a lot of planning and research to get the work done. Thank heaven for the Internet!

Authors like Isaac Asimov, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Arthur C. Clarke, Peter F Hamilton, Stephen King, Alistair Reynolds, Jules Verne, Jan Guillou, K Arne Blom, John Grisham, and many more have inspired me. I love to read and not only fiction, but also a lot of popular science in both books and magazines.

Real-world events and politics often activate my brain waves and imagination, and if possible, I prefer events to be plausible and places as accurate as possible, even if characters and happenings are pure fiction. But sometimes I also like to convey a message to the reader...

I was born in 1955, in a small community in Småland, Sweden. Presently, I'm working part-time as IT manager for at small office in Stockholm and as an IT Consultant for through my own company. I live with my family north of the Swedish capital.

My spare time I don't only use for writing novels, I also fill it with kayak tours, walks in the forests, reading books, dancing Salsation, listening to music and watching films. As time and circumstances allow it, I visit exciting places along with dance events around the globe.

I have also written some in Swedish: a detective story with the title "Änkan som vägrade dö", a noir story "Det du håller mest kärt" and another about the Sami struggle "Den sista jojken".

I'm currently working on a follow-up to the first trilogy. The new one is called "The Phoenix trilogy". My mind is bursting with ideas, and I only hope that my lifespan will be long enough to share them all with you.
