Jennifer Jorgensen-Ellison

Jennifer Jorgensen Ellison was born in Northern California where her childhood was full of happy memories and stories of Nordic mythological creatures and beings shared with her by her father, a man very proud of his Norwegian heritage.

At the age of thirteen she and her sister were moved to Idaho where she still lives, currently on a military base with her own family. Stories from her childhood began surfacing again in her mind a few years ago during one of her husbands deployments and a time when she, like many others was unemployed due to the weakened economy. With her family’s encouragement, Jennifer began writing her first book in a series.

Writing has always been a major part of Jennifers life. At fourteen poetry and song writing became her favorite past time. Short stories and childrens books were dreamed up next and were jotted down in notebooks. The world and all the people she holds close to her heart are her biggest sources of inspiration and encouragement.
