Saikat Majumdar

Saikat Majumdar is a novelist and literary critic. He grew up in Calcutta and has studied and taught in the US and Canada. He is the author of a novel, Silverfish (HarperCollins, 2007), and a study of modern world literature in English, Prose of the World (Columbia University Press, 2013). He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where he is an assistant professor of English at Stanford University.
