Michael S. Gendron

Michael Gendron has over 40 years of industry and academic experience in information systems and has been the CIO for several organizations. He holds his Ph.D. in Information Science with specializations in Information Decision Systems and Health Policy and Management from the State University of New York at Albany. Michael is currently a Professor of Information Systems at Central Connecticut State University; he also provides IT strategy consulting services.

Michael is a native of upstate New York and now resides in Connecticut. Within the USA he has lived in California, New Mexico, New York and Connecticut, and outside the USA he has lived in Adelaide Australia. He has visited and lectured on information systems topics around the world in places that include several states in the USA, Australia, Finland, Greece, Ireland, and Sweden.

Michael's current book Business Intelligence Applied won him the top research award at Central Connecticut State University's School of Business in 2013.
