Larry Alan Leigon

Larry Leigon is an American mystic, comedy writer and poet. He is certified as a first degree blackbelt in the Japanese martial art of Aikido from the legendary Hombu dojo in Tokyo. He wrote his first play when he was 6 years old. It featured 27 "acts" and was called "Howdy Doody Meets the Man from Jupiter". He toured the play all over his elementary school with a cardboard box and an armful of puppets to great acclaim. Mr. Leigon was born in Austin, Texas in 1947 and graduated from the Theatre Dept at the University of Texas in 1969. He was an actor in New York City for several years but with the birth of his daughter, Sarah, in 1976 he went into the wine business where he founded or developed some of the major wine brands in the United States. He is the author of "Live Like A Baby: the ten keys to happiness", "Raincrows: 25 sonnets" from the American Mystic Poetry Series, and "Does God Drink? and other mostly true stories from the vineyard". Mr. Leigon lives in the Bay Area of San Francisco, California.
