J. Alan Stephens

J. Alan Stephens is an educator, former Air Force Technician, prankster, and admitted introvert who became hooked on reading as a young child. He studied encyclopedias for hours on end and occupied his spare time reading such classics as King Arthur, Black Beauty, The Arabian Knights, and of course… Dr. Seuss. In his early teens he graduated to the Hardy Boys, Tolkien's The Hobbit & The Lord of the Rings trilogy, and Robert E. Howard’s Conan books. As an adult he has enjoyed reading countless books and considers Terry Brooks’ Shannara Series among his favorites. His longtime dream of becoming a writer was finally realized with the release of Paragon his science fiction/fantasy series.
