Anthony Meoli has been corresponding with serial killers, mass murderers, spree killers and death row inmates since the early 1990's. Worldwide, he has successfully contacted over 100 serial killers and murderers and personally interviewed seven inmates including: Danny Rolling (executed in 2006), Loran Cole, Lee Boyd Malvo, Karen Eckman, Kenneth Bianchi, Glen Rogers and Isaac Zamora.
In August 2012 he published "Diary of the D.C. Sniper," co-written with Lee Boyd Malvo which was the culmination of 7 years of correspondence, over 50 phone calls and a personal visitation. He has appeared as a criminal profiler on the ID Network, CBS, and the Reelz Channel. He served as forensic consultant for Piers Morgan/Plum Pictures production from 2016-2017. He published his second book, "Into the Fire" (Forensic Interview with John Orr) in June 2017.
Meoli is the only forensic consultant/criminal profiler to publish his interviews with serial killers. His CD's and MP3's downloads can be purchased on Itunes and Amazon. In trying to better understand serial killers, he collects their artwork, poetry, letters and even their original hand prints. Meoli possesses one of the world's largest collections of full-sized, original serial killer hand prints which he uses for fingerprint characteristics, height/weight comparisons and partial palm print identification (for cold cases).
Meoli holds 4 degrees including a B.S. from Penn State University (B.S. in Administration of Justice), Jurist Doctorate from John Marshall Law School, as well as two Master's degrees in Psychology from Argosy University (MA in Forensic Psychology), Argosy University (MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling). He is a currently a Nationally Certified Counselor.
Meoli has written, e-mailed, interviewed and visited over 300 serial killers, murderers, gang members and arsonists since 1995.
