Joseph Trangata

Joe Trangata was born in South Philadelphia in the 50s. His father went to War and the marriage ended before the war did. He was a "latch-key" kid prior to the term being invented. He floated between the households of his grandfather and his grandmother; as his mom worked hard to provide for them.

One thing that he never lacked was love. His grandfather taught him lessons and his grandmother gave him lots of love and Tastee cakes. She also took him to the movies at least 5 times a week. She loved hop-a-long Cassadetch (she said with an Italian accent) ~ Hop-a-Long Casidy. That is probably when his imagination started to dream big dreams. He has continued that into his life and his books.

He is married to Helena Trangata, his agent. They have 5 grand-children and live in Tampa Bay, FL
