Joe Attanasio

Joe P. Attanasio was born in the late 1940's in western New York. He is recently widowed and has a daughter. He served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army in 1968. He spent most of his life as a butcher and meat manager. He has lived near the east coast and the west coast of the United States and is currently living in New York. He wrote his first book, "A Butcher's Tale" at age 62.

His works also include: Caboodle of Poems, Treasure Trove, Ship to Shore, Sarah, Insidious Exposure, Sea Squirt Secret, Fallon - A Crime Drama, Matore the Nomad, Together- a love story, Mary & the Ghost - a quest for justice and Masquerade - a tale of deception.

He is an avid reader and is particularly interested in historical mysteries and adventures. His favorite authors include Ken Follett, Bernard Cornwell, C.J. Sansom, Steve Berry, Ellis Peters and George MacDonald Fraser.
