Mark I. Brislin

Mark I. Brislin has been living in the longest village in Europe for the past twelve years, which he often refers to as ‘the centre of the Universe’. He is married (Conny is his wife’s name and she is German) and has two children Raphael Harry (now aged 11) and Sophia Felicia (now aged 9). He lectures in the English language at Freiberg University, which is situated near to the border of the Czech Republic; Poland isn't too far away. He has a BSc (Honours) degree in Environmental Science from his British University and an MBA from his German university, but prefers writing and comedy to science and business. He likes to write poetry and short stories for both children and adults (which are older children). In the winter he loves to go skiing in the nearby ski slopes of the Erzgebirge. Like ‘Blade’, the hybrid Unicorn/Pegasus horse, from his children’s fantasy adventure book, ‘Blacksmith to the Stars’ he also doesn’t like needles or eating red cabbage either.

At the time of writing I have written 8 novels and 13 poetry books. I am presently working on three new books. You can find out more about me on my website (the usual We What Wine).brislin.de in English and in German.
