Brooklyn Ann is a critically acclaimed, award-winning author of over twenty-five novels who writes across a diverse range of genres, including romantasy, horror romance, paranormal romance, heavy metal romance, and historical romance. She began her writing career with a deeply personal mission: to craft the beautiful happy endings her mother never got to experience in real life. Now she also writes to honor the memory of her late partner, pouring those years of happiness and inspiration into stories that embrace her tagline: “Love for the Broken and Strange.”
When she isn’t giving outcasts their happily-ever-afters, she channels her lifelong love of horror to write dark, atmospheric supernatural horror with feminist themes. Writing under the pen name, Brooklyn Ann Butler, she serves up chilling supernatural horror that subverts standard tropes for both fun and monstrous twists. She’s an active member of the Horror Writers Association (HWA) and contributes to the organization’s initiatives.
A former auto-mechanic as well as an artist, Brooklyn loves to work on cars and create art pieces in almost as many mediums as genres she writes. She lives in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, with her books, cats, and an assortment of horror memorabilia.
She can be found online at BrooklynAnnAuthor(dot)com as well as most social sites.
