Nathan Byrd

Nathan Byrd served as senior pastor of The Worship Center in Queens, NY for 15 years. The Lord called him into ministry in 1979. Since that time he has founded the Jesus Makes the Difference Min., Safe House, and he is the visonary behind The Issachar Gathering (an annual gathering to uncover the "What Now, What Next" of the mind of God for the church. He has ministered extensively around the world in Canada, Britain, India, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Zambia, S. Africa, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Nigeria, Mexico, Colombia and the Carribean. His first book "For These Reasons..." was released in 2003. It is a powerful insight on marriage, sexuality, dating and relationship. It is a must read for teens, singles, and pre-marrieds. He is passionately driven to see the Shekinah return to the church with permanency whenever we gather to worship. This book enables us to fascilitate that glory in this generation.
