Marjorie Bayes Ph.D.

Marjorie A. Bayes, Ph.D., a retired clinical psychologist, has held faculty positions in the Yale University School of Medicine Department of Psychiatry and Smith College School for Social Work. She established independent practices of psychotherapy in Northampton, MA, and Denver, CO. She has taught courses in Human Development, worked on community projects for senior citizens, and presented workshops on "Growing Old: Attitudes, Fears, and Life Development."

Author of several academic journal articles, Marjorie has also co-edited an anthology, Women and Mental Health (Basic Books/ HarperCollins). She is a member of the Gray Panthers.
