JC Pond

JC Pond was born in 1972 on a United States military base in Augsburg, Germany. His father was serving as a Communications Specialist for the United States Navy at the time. After his family returned to the United States he spent most of his childhood in the suburbs of Salt Lake City. At the age of nineteen he left home to serve an LDS mission in Marseille, France, where he spent two years. He attended both Utah State University and the University of Utah where he earned a bachelor of science in Metallurgical Engineering in 1999. Since that time he has worked as an engineer and manager in the aerospace industry. Aside from treasured family activities his favorite pastimes include reading, writing and book collecting.
