Snow McNally

My name is Snow. I’m a 20-something queer trans lady from Melbourne, Australia with purple hair and sparkly nails. I got sick of the real world, so I started making one up. Then I got bored of that one, I made another, and another. Now I just can’t stop. These days I channel that into fiction, and writing stories is probably my single greatest joy in life. Well, that and cuddles.

I also like to think of myself as something of a game designer. I’ve tried my hand at a few, and I always have an idea or two in the background, ready to go. Mostly I like text adventures.

But, I have to admit, I do have something of an agenda, too. Having grown up as a queer teen, a genderqueer teen and a trans adult, I can tell you that more than anything, I wish that people had talked about those things more. I wish there had been places for me to go and learn about these things, and where I could point other people to, so they could learn to. I never really found exactly what I was looking for, so I just made my own. All I really want to know is that someone, somewhere has found me, and I’ve helped them in some small way.

In my spare time, I’m a full-time nerd. I play a lot of video games, card games, board games, tabletop wargames and pen-and-paper RPGs. I love the theatre, especially the musical kind, and very much wish I had the talent and dedication to perform. I’m passionate about my clothes, my hair, the stories that move me and the people I love. I’m also polyamorous, and very much in love with both my partners, who hold me up when everything else is dragging me down.
