Priscilla Stuckey

Priscilla Stuckey is an award-winning writer and spiritual counselor with a passion for healing our relationship with nature, both the natural world of the local community and our own inner nature. Her memoir Kissed by a Fox: And Other Stories of Friendship in Nature won the 2013 WILLA Award for Creative Nonfiction. Her book Tamed by a Bear: Coming Home to Nature-Spirit-Self is a memoir of connecting with nature through meditative (or shamanic-style) journeys.

A longtime book editor and graduate instructor with a PhD from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, Priscilla now produces the podcast “Nature :: Spirit — Kinship in a Living World,” available wherever you listen. She enjoys volunteering in nature restoration projects and promoting the rights of nature.

From their home on Maui, the land of the Hawaiian people, she and her partner, Tim, are exploring the wonders of life in the ocean.
