I started writing stories at age fourteen after a family holiday to Los Angeles.

Since that time I have written all manner of stories, from crime fiction to shorts. At University I wrote for the student newspaper and when I was working in Qatar, I wrote for the local tourist information guide. Throughout my teaching career I have written plays for children to perform but it wasn't until I wrote "Chaos Island," a story for my nieces about my nieces that I decided to take the plunge and become a fully-fledged published author.

"Chaos Island" is an adventure story that doesn't take itself too seriously.

It's follow up, "Daisy Albright and the Horsemen of the Apocalypse," continues the adventures of the two pint-sized monster hunters as they take on the Devil and his invading Apocalypse army.

I think they are a good read, but then I would. I wrote them. If you like Artemis Fowl or the films of Pixar, I think you'll like these stories.

I write because I love doing it. I think I will always write. Some people go to the gym, others ride horses, I write.

If one other person reads my stories and likes them then I'll take that. Will you be that one other person?
