Dorothy M. McCarthy

Dorothy M. McCarthy has been an art consultant and a poet/storyteller for twenty years and currently works and lives in New York City. "Rose Petals along the Way" is her most recent work and she invites you to share her life, and an intimacy with God rarely told.

The author was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in the Park Slope section of Brooklyn. While her formal education ended early, she holds a Masters in life experience.

"Rose Petals Along the Way" is a memoir, but it is more the story of an unlikely friendship between a woman of today and a Carmelite priest who traveled in the company of mystics.

Yes, mystics are still around and travel this green earth with us, they move in their own light and for them, time is non-exhistent. We need only to look with eyes wide open.
