Britt Collins MS, OTR/L practices at Aspen Crossing Elementary School in the Denver, Colorado area. She also works with children through early intervention Results Matter Therapy in home ages birth to three years old.
Her book series SENSORY PARENTING is co-written with Jackie Linder Olson. Sensory Parenting: Newborns to Toddlers is for all parents to learn about their babies and toddlers and their developmental milestones. The second book Sensory Parenting: The Elementary Years is from ages 4-11.
Britt's instructional Occupational Therapy/Sensory Integration DVDs include: "OT in the Home", "OT in the School", "OT for Children with Autism, Special Needs, and Typical," and "Yoga for Children with Special Needs."
Since graduating from Colorado State University with a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy, Britt has practiced in a variety of settings; including sensory integration clinics, school districts, home service, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facilities. She has mainly focused her career as an OT on Sensory Integration and how this affects children with various special needs, such as autism, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorder, feeding issues, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome.
