Dr. Khaldoun A. Sweis is a philosopher, professor, and investor whose work bridges two worlds most people never see brought together: the search for truth and the pursuit of real-world results.
Dr. Sweis is an Associate Professor of Philosophy in Chicago, where he has taught for over a decade, specializing in logic, ethics, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of religion. He completed his doctoral work in Philosophy of Mind at University of Hull and has taught in programs associated with University of Oxford.
He is the founder of the Socratic Project, a growing intellectual platform that hosts debates and discussions on the most important questions of our time—truth, God, morality, technology, and the future of human identity. He has lectured internationally at institutions including University of Cambridge, University of California, Berkeley, and University College London.
But Dr. Sweis is not only a thinker—he is also a builder.
Alongside his academic career, he develops and teaches frameworks for financial independence and multifamily real estate investing, helping professionals think clearly not only about ideas—but about income, assets, and long-term wealth. His work integrates disciplined reasoning with practical execution.
He is the author and editor of multiple books, including Killing God, Debating Christian Theism, and Christian Apologetics: An Anthology, as well as new works on philosophy, culture, and wealth-building.
Dr. Sweis is a member of the American Philosophical Association, Evangelical Philosophical Society, and the International Society of Christian Apologetics.
Philosopher J. P. Moreland writes:
“Khaldoun Sweis is a scholar of integrity and depth, with a profound commitment to truth.”
His work is written for those who refuse to live passively—who want to think clearly, live deliberately, and build a life that is both intellectually grounded and materially effective.
