I'm an author and musician from Louisville, Kentucky. I live with my wife in Southern Indiana, where I've spent most of my life. I started writing when I was between 10 and 13, and my first stories were single-page sword and sorcery tales inspired by He-Man and Conan the Barbarian. Since 1997, I've written more then 1000 songs and poems. I play five instruments, and my musical tastes are pretty eclectic. My original songs trend toward folk rock and alt folk. I'm a mild-mannered person with a deep interest in philosophy, theology, folklore, and nature. My literary idols are Tolkien, Frank Herbert, Joseph Conrad, and Aldous Huxley.
