Dr. George A. Baker III

Dr. George A. Baker III grew up in Sumter, South Carolina. He joined the US Marine Corps during the Cold War, and he served twenty-one years in Corps. He earned a PhD from Duke University and worked in education for many years. He is the Joseph D. Moore Distinguished University Professor Emeritus at North Carolina State University. He currently lives in South Carolina.
