Sherry Rhodes

Sherry Rhodes graduated from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and from Minot State University with bachelor’s degrees in both computer science and secondary education.

Sherry started teaching when she was twelve, assisting her father with swimming lessons each summer through the Los Angeles County Aquatics program. She later enjoyed teaching wherever she and her husband Pat were stationed—across the country and in Department of Defense schools around the world, including Okinawa, Japan; Lakenheath, England; Alconbury, England; and Ramstein, Germany. She taught both middle school and high school, as a substitute teacher when her children were young and as a full-time teacher when they got older. She later taught computer classes and maintained the computer lab at a nonprofit organization in Colorado Springs.

She now lives in the Sacramento, California area and enjoys visiting her three sons, Travis, Justin, and Daniel, and their families.
