Anthony Rich

Anthony Rich was born in Olongapo, Philippines, to a Filipino mother and American father and grew up in San Diego, CA, and Jacksonville, FL. He has worked in numerous field including: mortgages, finances, retention, retail, management, food and beverage, sales, telecommunication, along with a brief run in the US Navy's Special Forces. Growing up with a sports minded father, three brothers and no sisters, placed him in the perfect position for athleticism and sports, but his love for sports (particularly the Jacksonville Jaguars) has been overshadowed by his creative side. Anthony has long been in love with film, theater and the art of acting. Perusing his acting career lead him back from Florida to California. Growing up in a military household, moving from time to time was only apart of life. As a matter of fact Anthony and his family moved almost every six months to a year, but this move to California would change his life, because this journey was the sole reason he decided to peruse a life of travel. His first book, "6 ways to travel for free," was written primarily to educate readers on how easy and simple free travel really is. He is now runs a few travel blogs including amatorlife.com and couchtraveler.com and is currently writing more travel books.
