Paylie Roberts

Paylie Roberts once lived in a major city, and enjoyed all the comforts of city life. In 2007, Paylie's husband convinced her to get involved in the voting process for the presidential candidate. When the convention was illegally shut down, and Paylie watched her vote get locked away and never counted, Paylie realized that her freedom was at stake, and that survival itself meant she had to take action into her own hands.

Paylie began her life as a prepper, and since then, has changed her life by leaving the convenience of city life, and moving to a homestead in the middle of nowhere. There she learned first hand the hardships of living off the land, and what it takes to really survive. This experience caused her frustration when she heard people unrealistically talk about bugging out when things get bad, and she decided to turn that frustration into something productive, and thus the creation of her book, Bugging Out to Nowhere.

Based partially on true experiences, molded to fit the story, Paylie shares her experiences of living out in the middle of nowhere, and what she thinks could occur, should an economic collapse become fully realized.
