Carol Ritten Smith

Carol Ritten Smith was born and raised in Central Alberta, Canada. She feels blessed to have a son and daughter and numerous grandchildren living nearby, and that she lives on a buffalo ranch with her husband of over fifty years.

Her current work in progress is a heartwarming Christian Romance, set in a small town in the1960s. The story centers around Minerva, the church organist and Matthew, the new minister, a widower with a three year old boy.

Minerva has kept the pain of her tragic past locked away for years. When Matthew and his young son enter her life, she struggles to trust in God and fall in love again. Yet, patient Matthew and his spirited boy slowly win her heart completely. Just as she dares to believe in a future with them, an unexpected turn of events threatens to ruin everything. Is this part of God's plan, too?

Carol hopes to have this story out before the end of 2025.
