Louise Heren

Louise Heren is an independent history academic who seeks out lost and forgotten personal testimonies that highlight facets of history more usually told from a top-down perspective. Academically, she specialises in the history of violent crime with a focus on Scotland. Louise is also a television documentary producer and director. She lives in Wiltshire, although spends a lot of time conducting research in the archives in Scotland.
