Lorna Woods loves to read and always wanted to write novels. Before she could read she drew a super hero comic book. Wrote her first novel, a Science Fiction romance,at 12,and read each chapter to her eighth grade class mates. Born in Wrangell, Alaska an island town of 1200 people, she lived in Southeast Alaska until 1969. She now lives on the Oregon Coast with her husband, Ed, and 2 cats, Ahmie and Blue. Lorna has 5 children, 12 grandchildren and so far 24 great grandchildren.
Lorna has made 8 short term mission trips to Northern Thailand with Divine Healing teams through Ambassador Ministries in Portland,Oregon, director Craig DeMo. The last 3 trips she co-led the teams with her husband, Ed. After writing her memoir, I'm Living My Destiny,Don't Miss Yours, covering the first 5 Thailand mission adventures, she decided to fulfill her dream of becoming a novelist. She considers herself an eclectic writer, so far has written inspirational contemporary romance-A Miracle for Amanda-set in Southeast Alaska; romance with suspense -Escape the Dragon-inspired by her own cult experience; Who Am I Now-a novel for teens; Sugar Daddy's Christmas-general fiction-plus 14 more.
