ABOUT THE AUTHOR

My name is Anna Patterson, and I grew up in Texas spending summers in Arkansas at my Grandmother's house. Eventually my family moved to Arkansas and I have lived there since.

I currently have two newspapers published daily as part of Paper.li on the Internet.

I also have more than seventy books published now, and have Best Sellers in cookbooks, and in Romance Novels including historical novels.

I started doing book reviews many years ago when I worked in the newspaper business and have continued this hobby at times with reviews published at different times on the Internet on Amazon, my own website, and others.

Most recently, I have been writing screenplays. At this time five have been selected to be considered in further judging film festivals.

In my many years in newspapers, I have been a Society Editor, wrote an Editorial column, and received several awards by the Arkansas Press Association for reporting and page composition.

I received an Associate of Arts Degree from Westark Community College and was named Outstanding Journalist of the Year and News Editor of the student paper.

I received a degree as an honor student from the University of Arkansas with a BSE Degree in Education with an emphasis on Art Education, minoring in History and English. I was a member of the Dark Horse Publication of the school, publishing in that, and was also accepted in two Undergraduate Art Shows. I received the Laura Yeater Scholarship for Outstanding Women Students.
