Glenn Stockwell is Professor at Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan, where he teaches a range of English language subjects and several applied linguistics subjects. His research interests include computer-mediated communication, mobile learning, and the role of technology in the language learning process. He is co-author of CALL Dimensions (Lawrence Erlbaum Associates, 2006 with Mike Levy), editor of Computer-Assisted Language Learning: Diversity in Research and Practice (Cambridge University Press, 2012), and author of Mobile Assisted Language Learning: Concepts, Contexts & Challenges (Cambridge University Press, 2022), as well as having published widely in international journals in the field of CALL. He is editor-in-chief of The JALT CALL Journal and the Australian Journal of Applied Linguistics and is associate editor of Computer Assisted Language Learning.
