George Jackson

George Jackson (middle name William) was born November 25, 1947 in a small town (Fair Haven) in the Green Mountains of Vermont. The son of Agnes Alberta Frasier Jackson and George William Jackson Jr., I graduated from Rutland High School, and earned a Bachelor's in Education and a Master's in Leadership and Administration from Castleton State College. I spent 40 years in education as a teacher (11 years) and a principal (29 years) in both Vermont and New Mexico. My wife Carolyn, who taught for 30 years, and I have been blessed with five children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren in our combined family. I have always written, but now that I'm retired, it has become not only my passion, but my new occupation. I'm parts Scottish, English, Irish and Welch. My mother's family name was Frasier and we visited Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales a few years ago. We brought back a kilt, a Highlander's sword and I am very proud of my heritage. I am also an artist in oils and love reading, video games (yes, at my age!) fishing and the ocean. I am an avid Indianapolis Colts (previously a Baltimore Colts) fan and have been for over fifty years. We live in Tradition, Florida which is a newly created community within Port St Lucie. It was created to look like a typical New England village. I write small town mysteries, dragonrider fantasies and love to write humorous short stories about kids and schools. Look me up on Amazon.com! I am currently publishing The Falls Mystery Series.
