G.E. Forth writes stories of international intrigue and the everyday human struggles that often provide the fuel for small stumbles to become major international conflicts. His stories are "riveting and fast paced."
I think my path to becoming a writer has been a bit different than most. True, books have been my friends ever since I was a young boy. I should have taken note of this, but instead I followed my father's footsteps into business. One of my special skills turned out to be writing about new concepts and yet-to-be-created products. As I look back on this time, it seems that I was writing creative nonfiction and didn't even know it. What I didn't recognize at the time was that I was merely practicing for a calling that has increasingly captured me and made me its own.
The Robert Chase Novels grew out of my love for stories of international espionage (Alan Furst, Daniel Silva, Tom Clancy) and my equal, but different love for Europe. I live there part of the year with my lovely partner, Jann, and my laptop. Many of my novels take place on the Continent.
