Andrei Levitski

Andrei Levitski was born in 1971 in Chernobyl, then yet to earn its ill fame as the epicenter of the nuclear power station disaster. When still a child, Andrei used to roam about a lot investigating the area around the power station. After the disaster, his family had to relocate to Kiev where Andrei finished school and later, graduated from college.

It was his Chernobyl memories that influenced his decision to accept the offer of contributing to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Russia's most popular SF novel series. Andrei wrote several books for the project, after which he was voted the series' most popular author. After S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Andrei teamed up with the Moscow SF writer Alex Bobl in order to start a new project: the eight-book TechnoTma. The Dark Times. TechnoTma - a post apocalyptic action adventure series that follows the lives of people in a devastated Russia and Ukraine - immediately became hugely popular with the readers. Today, more novels are still being added to it, written by new contributors.

At present, Andrei Levitski is busy working on two projects: The Sector, depicting a fictitious anomalous Zone not far from Moscow, and (also in collaboration with Alex Bobl) a short story collection set in the world of the WARFACE online game.
