Stacey Price Brown

Author Biography

Stacey was born and raised in Hollis, New York. Her mother, Claudia Wright Price, was a retired teacher and her father, James Henry Price, affectionately called "Speedy" was the first African American to own a Lincoln Mercury dealership located in Queens Village, New York. Stacey published her first story when she was five years old; "The Bright Golden Moon" which was printed in the school and local newspapers. It was evident then that she would pursue a career writing. She was a newscaster for WQMC Radio in New York. Stacey earned a B.A. in Political Science and Communications and a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. She become seriously ill and relocated to Georgia in 1995. She recovered from T-Cell Lymphoma and Multiple Sclerosis after approximately 20 years. After her recovery she began to publish in various article directories and wrote for the "Examiner" an online newspaper. She published several books; "B.I.B.L.E: Basic Instructions before Leaving Earth, Part 1" (2007); "Genetic Breakdown: The truth about Vioxx, bextra & Celebrex" (2008); "The Truth about the Little Light in Your Refrigerator" (2012) and in 2013 she was invited to become an author with Tate Publishing Company; "The Covenant Stone".

In 2015 she published Blu; life in a juvenile prison and the drug trade. Her most recent work: Puberty to Menopause: Things your mother never told you (2016); herbal solutions to problems women face, from early puberty to menopause.
