John Pearson is a writer and blogger who lives in the Chicago area. He is a former Midwest Publisher for Arcadia Publishing, where he managed the publication of more than 1000 books. He has been a high school English teacher, a tutor, and a bookstore manager, among other things. You may find him riding his bike, playing guitar, or exploring one of the myriad forest preserves in his greater backyard. In addition to writing novels, he has written a memoir of life with his cockatiel, Binx, and the just published collection of his father's letters home from the army during WWII, which was his pandemic project. When he can escape the Midwest, he loves to explore the San Juan mountains in southwest Colorado.
