S. A. J. Friederich

S. A. J. Friederich was born and raised in Northwestern Wisconsin by her parents and two older siblings. While growing up, daydreaming was always a forefront in her life. From pretending to be a cat to having her toy sharks attack her barbies in the bath, she always had some kind of fantasy to jump into or a book to indulge in. Even learning the rewind and play buttons on the VCR helped her imagination. Land Before Time, Braveheart, Waterworld, and Disney movies were always playing.

In middle school, after an art trip with her mom and several others, she finally found a love and interest in writing (she hated writing before that trip). Her first story she wrote was set in ancient Egypt, but that story, along with a few other notebooks, was stolen and she never got it back. Refusing to stop just because of that, she has continued to write since.
