Larry Skahill

Hi and welcome to my biography.

Like most American boys growing up in the sixties, John Glenn, Neil Armstrong and Johnny Bench were my heroes. I dreamed of one day becoming an astronaut pr playing professional baseball. When I became near-sighted at age twelve, those dreams went away. I toured the Jet Propulsion Laboratories (JPL) in Alta Dena, California. I witnessed the video of NASA's Mission Control Center in Houston during Neil Armstrong's first walk on the moon. I wondered if maybe I could someday do that instead. The camera went to a wide angle of Mission Control. Almost all of the controllers were wearing horned-rim glasses! I had a new dream.

I got married, had children and sadly, ended up divorced. My younger two kids and I started free-diving to have fun and spend time together. We eventually got certified to scuba dive too.

By age forty-five I was in charge of the operations and maintenance of the Vandenberg Air Force Base Weather Station. The "new business capture" team of my employer, ITT Defense, eventually won the NASA/JPL "Deep Space Network" contract and I was up for a leading role. The only problem is that I was ran over by a boat and essentially "cut in half."

Thus ended my childhood dream.

Many told me: "Your life is ruined."

It sure looked that way.

My director at Vandenberg, Tony Medeiros, gave me some great advice: "you need to re-invent yourself." More on that in a minute.

After several failed attempts, I eventually returned to the underwater world of free-diving. I required help to get into the water and started taking other men on adventures in the giant kelp forests off the Central Coast of California. Without thinking about it, I had become a dive coach.

In the meantime, I became a certified, Professional Life Coach with the American Association of Christian Counselors and am currently working on my credentials for the International Coach Federation, the oldest and most highly respected Coach organization in the world. I specialize in helping people and organizations re-envision their futures, as I had mine.

I went to the "Healing Rooms of the Santa Maria Valley." God healed my "Breakthrough" pain. I joined the team. I now see miracles, healings and witness accurate prophecies regularly.

I believe this is normal Christianity.

Using exciting, true dive stories, my next book "Dive into the Super Natural Life: Pursuing the God of Miracles" (late spring, 2017), combines the beauty and spirituality of the underwater world with this faith that we can walk in the true normal Christianity of miracles and healings.

Chase after humpback whales, join a true friend as he races to fight off a great white shark to save a friend; dive-in to life-filled waters and be lost in a sense of wonder that you haven't had since childhood. Join me and my friends as we explore and experience the ocean's mysteries and learn to lead a supernatural life.

Thanks for reading and may you find the "Super-natural Life" that God created you to live.
