Jennifer shot into the world one July evening in the early eighties. She grew up on a bean farm in Maine, with her parents, and three brothers. She studied biochemistry and genetics at the University of Maine, where she also learned the arts of mind control and bad decision making. She realized shortly after entering the working world that biochemistry and bad decisions wouldn't get her where she wanted to go, so spent two years living in Senegal, West Africa as a Peace Corps Volunteer. In her village, Sare Kemo, she did her best to help families and farmers thrive on their own land. Also, she learned to skin a rabbit.
During the three years following her overseas service, she dabbled in biodiesel, then pharmaceuticals, (making them, not taking them), and a little more bad decision making. When she tired of clean rooms and rubber gloves, she took a six month quarter-career retirement in South East Asia. Retirement inspired her to begin writing her first book. When she returned to the hustle and bustle of American life, she had a parasite, and a plan. Write.
She now spends her time raising four amazing and wild human creatures, writing, and when she's tired of that, bending metal objects with her mind.
