Lynn Arave

Lynn Arave is a native Utahn and a graduate of Weber State University in communications and human performance. He is a retired newspaper reporter who worked as a journalist for more than 32 years. An avid walker and hiker, he has hiked the Grand Canyon, to the top of Mt. St. Helen's and Mount Whitney, as well as to Kings Peak and back home in a day. He also loves dogs, sci-fi, Superman comic books, reading and travel. He will have 12 books in print by the spring of 2027.

He is also a former marathoner and collegiate cross country runner.

He lives in Layton, Ut., with his wife, LeAnn. They are the parents of four children - Roger (Whitney), Steven, Elizabeth (Daniel Hafen); and Taylor. They also have five grandchildren -- Elle, Carson, Coleman, Lincoln.and Thea.
