Ph.D., D.Min., Pierre F. Steenberg

Pierre F. Steenberg attained a B.A. Theology degree from Andrews University, Michigan. He also accomplished a B.A. Honors in Biblical Studies, an M.A. in Biblical Studies and a Ph.D. in New Testament Studies from the University of Pretoria in South Africa. Both the M.A. and the Ph.D. were attained with distinction - the highest possible grade presented at a South African University. He graduated more recently Magna Cum Laude with a D.Min. in Pastoral Psychology and Family Therapy from the Pacific School of Religion, Berkeley, California.

He is a member of numerous academic societies in both theology and counseling, including the Society of Biblical Literature and the American Association of Christian Counselors. He is the author of a number of articles and books.

Pierre has been a pastor and a counselor for many years, enjoying the credentials of the BCCC (Board Certified Christian Counselor) from the International Board of Christian Counselors.

He is married to Karlien and they have two sons. The Steenberg family lives in California. Pierre enjoys photography and travel.
