Nat Khublall

I have had a varied career in professional practice and in university teaching, attaining professorial status during my last 8 years at the National University of Singapore. I was also an active member of a judicial tribunal in Singapore. Before moving to Singapore, I taught at both the University of Hong Kong and Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I have half a dozen qualifications, including a higher doctorate degree (DSc) and, by profession, I am both a barrister and a chartered surveyor. I am the author of 9 textbooks published by Butterworths, Longman and FT Law and Tax, 6 eBooks available on Amazon Kindle (these are also available as print on demand editions from Createspace), and 33 academic papers. I was the author of six study manuals in Hong Kong. For a few years (1972-1974), I was an examiner at the University of Guyana and much later at Oxford Brookes University. I presented papers at international conferences in the USA, Australia, Germany, Spain, the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Netherlands, among other countries.

I worked as the Deputy Chief Valuation Officer of Guyana, estates officer in the UK, and practised as a Barrister very briefly in Hong Kong and for over 10 years in England and Wales. In addition to holding various full-time and part-time appointments over the years, I was involved in consultancy practice from time to time.
