I'm Chris Alden, a writer of travel and how-to guides for Islebright Books.

I'm the author of 250 Things to Do in Cyprus on a Sunny Day* - a travel guidebook that draws on my three years of living in a beautiful village in the Troodos foothills.

I've also written The Greek Alphabet: 24 Letters in 24 Hours - a guide to the modern Greek alphabet for expats and tourists.

Aside from Mediterranean travel, my main passions in life are food and drink, walking, music and the arts.

My travel writing has also appeared in the Guardian, the Telegraph and in-flight magazines.
