Larry Butler has devoted his entire life to the music business, specializing in live performance and touring. He played in bar bands in Ohio for ten years, tour managed name artists for five years, and spent twenty years as VP Artist Relations at Warner Bros. Records in Los Angeles.
Larry now heads up Did It Music in Nashville. His focus these days is mentoring solo singer/songwriters in the art of becoming entertainers.
Larry's first book on Amazon was THE TWELVE LESSONS OF ROCK 'N' ROLL (FOR YOUR CAREER AND YOUR LIFE). The book is based on experiences and events he witnessed while on the road with rock 'n' roll artists and bands. There's even a chapter about being in the right place at the right time, with specifics about supporting shows with Rolling Stones, the Beach Boys, and The Byrds, including jamming with Jimi Hendrix.
Larry’s latest book if THE SINGER/SONGWRITER HANDBOOK: 101 WAYS TO IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF SUCCESS, which details the knowledge he accumulated from his 40+ years in the live music performance arena in a step-by-step manner, specifically geared toward the young, aspiring singer/songwriter.
