Ramon Williamson is an American entrepreneur best known for his work as a life coach, public speaker, and Internet business pioneer.
Life Coach
Williamson gained early fame as a public speaking prodigy, winning his first competition at age nine. His success in direct sales led to corporate speaking engagements, where he developed a coaching methodology for sales people. This early work in 1986 helped pioneer the field of modern life coaching. He invented the concept of "coaching clubs," and has significantly influenced key players in the field, marketing practices, and at least two books on the business of coaching.
Internet Business Pioneer
In 1994, Williamson began using email to coach people, and launched a digital publishing, marketing and software business. His BetaCamp™, one of the first Internet training seminars, offered a unique proposition: create and launch an Internet business in a weekend. He was named "Influencer and Innovator of the Internet" by MOBE in 2001. Interestingly, the award was presented by Sinbad the Comedian, another early adopter, in a Los Angeles ceremony.
Current Work
Today, he is widely considered one of the most experienced and effective life coaches in the world, having worked with more than 30,000 individual and group clients. His unique ability is getting who you really are, developing your Authentic Platform™ and building a business around "brand you." His clients include celebrities, businesspeople, thought leaders, authors and everyday experts with something to say or sell in the new social-centric economy.
He continues to coach, write and speak on personal growth, Internet business, marketing, social media leadership and branded methodologies like Authentic Platform™, Levels of Access™, Path Of Growth™ and others.
A revised edition of his book, "Six Simple Things That Can Change Your Life," is scheduled for release in the spring of 2023.
