Richard Perth

Richard Perth was born in Dallas, Texas and has lived in three countries outside of America: England, Saudi Arabia, and Switzerland.

He was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division when he was young. After being honorably discharged, he quit jumping out of airplanes and learned to fly them instead. He has flown solo across the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans as an international ferry pilot from Witchita, Kansas to Africa, Asia, Australia, and Europe. As an Airline Transport Pilot, he has flown Lear Jets over four continents and the eastern Pacific. Along the way, he earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts.

He lives near Houston, Texas, but when the south Texas summer heat makes him wilt, he likes to head for cooler climes.
