Leigh Forbes

Leigh has been writing since she could, and her first short story "The Day I Looked After the Sweet Shop" won much praise from Mrs Robinson, her Year 2 class teacher. Since then, she has published non-fiction articles, short stories, and a novella. Her much loved Outwitted! series (Volumes I & II) charts life with three smart-alec children, who have been getting the better of her since they were tiny.

When Leigh is not up a Scottish mountain in the fog, she runs a typesetting business and drinks too much coffee. In addition to the children, she has a lazy cat and a loftful of mice. She tweets @writeleighso.
