Janet Russac

Janet Russac has over 30 years of experience as a programmer, analyst and measurement specialist in software application development and maintenance. She is a member of the International Function Point Users Group (IFPUG) and served as the Chair of the Management Reporting Committee (2002-2004) during which time she spear-headed the creation of an international industry certification for individuals in the field of software measurement (Certified Software Measurement Specialist/CSMS). She also has served on the Counting Practices Committee and the Communications and Marketing Committee, and was a board member for IFPUG serving as Director of Applied Programs. She is a Certified Function Point Specialist (CFPS), a Level 3 Certified Software Measurement Specialist (CSMS) and a Certified Software Quality Engineer (CSQE). Ms. Russac authors and presents workshops at companies, professional organizations and conferences, as well as being a featured speaker at conferences. She has co-authored and contributed to books on function points and software measurement.
